Today, companies are expected to consider not only their economic objectives, but also the environmental, social and governance aspects connected with their activities

ESG means looking at a company through the impact it has around it: on the environment, on work, on relationships with people and on the way decisions are made.
For Magic, this translates into a path built on actions, tools and objectives that involve processes, organization and the local community. From the management of environmental aspects to social initiatives, through to the systems adopted to strengthen integrity and transparency, this page brings together the main areas on which the company is working on.

Bringing environmental considerations into our processes

Consumption, resources, materials and waste management are all part of industrial activity and require ongoing attention. At Magic, they are monitored and managed through specific tools, projects and initiatives, with the aim of making decisions increasingly data-driven and verifiable over time.

The integration of ESG principles

Magic’s journey towards integrating ESG criteria

At a time of profound change, Magic sees the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) topics as a journey that the company intends to translate progressively into actions that, wherever possible, can be measured.

A significant step forward in this direction came on 7 November 2023, when the Board of Directors appointed Mara Galli, CEO and CFO, as the company’s ESG representative.

The decision marks a strategic turning point, aimed at strengthening risk management, assessing opportunities related to ESG topics and contributing to the protection and creation of business value over time.

We had the opportunity to speak with Mara Galli, a member of the board who is guiding the company through an innovation process that aims to progressively integrate environmental considerations, social equity and transparent governance into its actions.
