Healthy lives, promoting wellbeing: API Donna donates innovative tools to Novara Hospital
A book of recipes and stories of female entrepreneurship becomes a tool of solidarity towards the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of the Novara University Hospital.
“Women of Taste, Recipes of Success” collects the stories of 19 female entrepreneurs from API Donna, the Association of Small and Medium Industries of the provinces of Novara, Verbania-Cusio-Ossola, Vercelli, and Valsesia. A project born in 2021 that talks about women and men, families and businesses, and lives intertwined over the years and generations.
The proceeds from sales have been allocated to the purchase of “Bettocchi” hysteroscopic optics for the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of Novara University Hospital.
Mara Galli, CEO of Magic Spa and member of the Board of Directors at API Donna said:
“We believe women’s well-being is a fundamental value for our society. We are proud to have realized this project, which will serve to improve the quality of life of many patients and provide faster and less invasive diagnoses and treatments for female diseases.”
The new hysteroscopic optics will indeed allow for examinations to be performed in the outpatient department without general anaesthesia and with considerable advantages for patients in terms of comfort and waiting times. Simplifying the diagnostic process can save valuable time: reducing the time for diagnosis allows the most appropriate treatment process to be set up immediately, aiming to improve quality of life.
“API Donna’s project is a concrete example of how companies can contribute to achieving Goal 3 of the 2030 Agenda – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Our commitment to women’s health is of great value for the community and shows the strength and solidarity of the API group. This project not only improves local health services, but also serves as a tangible example of how entrepreneurial commitment can have a positive impact on the community.”
Beyond pages and words, a commitment to the future.
The endowment to Novara University Hospital represents an important step in this direction but is intended to be the beginning of a broader path. API Donna looks to the future with the awareness that entrepreneurship can make a difference in promoting the well-being of a whole community.
