Magic sponsors an important direct action campaign on the issue of CO2, the gas mainly responsible for the greenhouse effect.

The installation of a gigantic cube representing 1 ton of CO2 is planned from 9th to 13th June in Arona on Lake Maggiore.

The initiative is promoted by the local Rotary Club and the Municipality of Arona along with several sponsors including Magic. It is aimed at bringing citizens closer to the issues of climate change and global warming.

Next to the 550-cubic-metre cube, some panels will show useful information and data on the issues of climate change; by using a QR code visitors will be allowed to calculate independently their environmental footprint and to download a vademecum of sustainable behaviour.

The goal of the project is clear: to urge people to change their attitudes and their everyday habits, to limit emissions often due to an unknowingly wasteful behaviour in terms of natural resources.
