Mamy.eu is pleased to announce the launch of its new project, introduced by Mauro Giani, CEO of Magic, the parent company and owner of the Mamy brand.

The project began with work started in 2015 on the development of Spongel, the superabsorbent powder developed and patented by Magic.

Spongel subsequently obtained OK Compost Industrial certification, confirming its compostability under the conditions defined by the relevant certification scheme.

Mauro Giani explains:

It took five years of intensive work to develop a production process and a product that fully met the required characteristics.
At Mamy, the wellbeing of the whole family has always been a priority, especially when it comes to children, who were at the heart of the development of this new diaper. Just as in the other areas of the company, the time had come to invest in research and development for Mamy-branded products as well.

This work led to the development of Mottyno, the new Mamy diaper.

The product takes its name from Motty, the mascot of Mottarone, the mountain that is a symbol of the local area: a friendly little wolf loved by children and involved in a number of social initiatives, particularly those supporting children.
