Magic Spa has always been supporting Oleggio Basketball Club, with a bond that goes beyond simple sponsorship as the current Title Sponsor.

Luciano Giani, Magic’s founder, was the visionary who, in the 1970s, created the Oleggio Basket Club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023.
With great passion, he brought together a group of young players, starting a history of more than half a century.

Also thanks to Magic’s support, the club has grown over the years, achieving increasingly important goals.
For the past ten years, the Oleggio Magic Basket team has been playing in the B2 League, an important milestone reflecting the club’s commitment to recognizing and enhancing talents.

In addition to the first team squad, the Oleggio Junior Basket Club has 7 teams playing in their respective leagues, from Regional Division 1 to Under 12.

The Minibasket division, with an average of 180 members each year, is the club’s flagship.
Here, boys and girls not only learn the game fundamentals, but above all core values such as respect, fair play, and commitment.
The summer camp involves over 350 children, offering 7 full-time weeks of sports, fun, and personal growth.

The Oleggio Basketball Club is also a pioneer in the Baskin project, an inclusive initiative that breaks down barriers between athletes with and without disabilities, creating a team where everyone can bring a significant contribution.

One last project is Magic Shark, aimed at enhancing local talents and creating high-level sports opportunities in the neighbouring towns as well.
Thanks to a network of Academies currently young athletes can train close to home, supported by a highly qualified coaching staff, and experience basketball as a school of life.

Through Magic’s support and the club’s commitment, basketball in Oleggio is a point of reference for young people.
Sport is a way to share important values such as respect and cooperation and to create opportunities for growing up beyond just the game.
